Sinnce September 5, a free Jio 4G SIM is available to anyone who has a 4G-compatible phone and a valid ID card. Ideally, you are just supposed to visit a Reliance Digital store or a Reliance Xpress Mini store near your place and get a SIM. And many are doing so. There has been a great amount of excitement around the new network. Reliance Jio is highly in demand because the network is offering free calls to everyone and what’s more, until December 31 2016, using the network is going to be completely free – you’ll be able to use 4GB of data daily at 4G speeds without having to pay anything at all.

But in case you are still on the fence and trying to figure how it all is going to play out, what kind of service you will get and what is that you can expect from the Jio SIM, we do have something to share. If you decide to get the Jio SIM, you will possibly get some awesome internet speed. But at the same time, you will also face the following issues:
The problem is that it’s getting harder and harder to get a hold of a Reliance Jio SIM card now. We went to several Reliance Digital, Reliance Digital Xpress Mini, and third-party stores that sell Reliance Jio connections, and in all of these, we were told that the SIM cards are unavailable indefinitely. We reached out to Reliance Jio multiple times to learn about the nature of the delays, but got no official response from the company.
